Without realizing it you’ve found yourself sustaining this stress for longer than you’d prefer, and now you’re starting to notice your ability to manage it is crumbling.

You try to manage stress alone and it's making you...
That’s where I help you gain control and perspective over stress so you can catch your breath and fill more of your cup.

Stress is, without question, a pain in the ass to handle when it is frequently occurring. The tricky thing is you do not always know why your stress comes and goes, adding an extra burden you do not have time for and need a break from.
My Approach To Coaching For
Stress Management
Understanding
Stress shows up differently for everyone. I want to hear how it comes up in your life to understand the best way to nip it in the bud.
Educating
I'll help you understand how your body uses stress and how our thoughts and responses contribute to it.
Exploring
We'll dig into what causes your stress and overwhelm to start to rein it in. I'll ask you to track how stress presents, what is happening, and how you react to it.
Communicating
Stress can gain its power when we hold it in. Expressing it lets the steam out. We'll work on ways to communicate to others how stress impacts you.
Rewriting
Changing thought patterns that contribute to overwhelming feelings. Stress is an alarm of discomfort. We'll reset that alarm so it's not as sensitive.
Coping
We'll create a toolkit of skills. From grounding, breathing, self-caring, and somatic work, all aimed to keep you feeling balanced and in control.

Helping you navigate stress
with greater ease
No matter how stress is showing up for you; my goal is for you to feel balanced again. Together, we’ll explore how stress operates in your life and empower you with tools to respond to feeling overwhelmed.
Stress and the events, people, and places that make us anxious will always be there, but together we can change how you interact and cope with them! You can reduce your stress. I’m here to help you achieve it.

Can I eliminate stress?
Stress is actually a good thing in small doses. Eliminating stress or anxiety completely cuts off our ability to know when something does not feel right to us. The goal is to teach you how stress can be helpful versus unhelpful, decrease how often and long you feel stressed out, and how to respond to it effectively when it does show up.

What approach do you use for stress management?
Variety is best when looking at stress. I like to pull stressed out thoughts apart to understand how you think. I incorporate tools to help you better understand different cues from your body that create stress and how to manage those uncomfortable feelings. I also provide education on what stress is and how your body and thoughts integrate. Befriending anxious feelings is also a part of it (I know I roll my eyes too when I hear this, but it’s a necessary step).

How long will it take?
Learning how to manage stress does take time, depending on how long you have had it. It also takes your dedication to trying new tools and thought processes. For some, it can take a few months; for others, it may be a longer process. Anxious thinking and how you respond to stress develops over time, so there is no easy fix button if you want to truly make change in how to think about and respond to stress.
